Volvo Car Thailand has parked itself in Hat Yai to offer local customers a unique luxury dealership experience in true Scandinavian style

Volvo Car Thailand continues to open new and innovative dealerships that welcome customers in a truly Scandinavian way, the latest being in Hat Yai. Once again the “Volvo Retail Experience” ensures that all customers are the focus in every aspect of the dealership, guaranteeing a warm Swedish welcome for all complimented by uncompromised levels of comfort and visibility amidst refined architectural touches that define Nordic design and produce an environment that is ‘cool on the outside, warm on the inside’.
Located on Lobbureelamest Road, Hat Yai, Horizon Auto Co., Ltd.is owned by the Vice President of the Car Dealers Association in Songkhla, Mr. Thawatchai Trisukkasem. Winner of numerous sales-related awards, and having previously achieved the highest volume of SUV sales in the South of Thailand (2017), Mr. Thawatchai brings a strong track-record of experience to his partnership with Volvo. He says, “As a self-starter with ambition, I am passionate about growing the business, and honoured to be working with Volvo Cars Thailand and their team. Benefitting from in-depth knowledge of the SUV market, I look forward to consulting with the new generation of Thai consumers who wish to learn more about Volvo’s Swedish luxury, Scandinavian design and smart technologies.”
Volvo always strives to ensure the experience that customers encounter in dealerships is a true reflection of not only the Volvo brand but also Volvo’s Scandinavian heritage. One major difference with the new dealership design is the ability for customers to park in front of the building and walk inside through a crafted wooden entrance that leads them into a completely new experience. Once inside they are greeted by a showroom that feels more like a living room, where Scandinavian furniture and free Wi-Fi and coffee awaits, making their visit to the dealership a truly comfortable one. From a design perspective the interior features opaque glass with clear windows that allow for easy viewing of the latest cars. The open feel of the interior also extends to the workshop area where, thanks to the unique interior glazing installed, customers have an uninterrupted view so as they can see the attention and focus given to their car whilst being serviced. It is safe to say that Volvo offers a welcoming dealership experience unlike those of German brands in the Thailand market.

Mr. Chris Wailes, Managing Director, Volvo Car (Thailand) Limited, said, “Our newest dealership, located in Hat Yai, is yet another example of our commitment to deliver the best automotive experience for customers in Thailand. Since June 2017 Volvo Cars Thailand has been committed to transforming our business and the Customer Experience is always our priority. The new dealership in Hat Yai with our partners Horizon Auto Co Ltd is a yet another example of our “Volvo Retail Experience” (VRE) where customers can expect high levels of visibility in an open environment that of course comes with a true Swedish welcome. The VRE concept delivers an uncompromised level of best in class service and comfort all within our exclusive luxury retail surroundings. Together
with Horizon Auto Co Ltd we can now offer customers in Hat Yai the Freedom to Move, in a Safe, Personal and sustainable way.”
