Von Bundit Co., Ltd., in the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its founding, is ready to invest in 2018 and aims to increase production capacity to meet market demand in 2018.
Mr. Bundit Kerdvongbundit, Managing Director of Von Bundit Co., Ltd., said that the Company is one of the leading producer and exporter of rubber, natural rubber in Thailand produced and delivered to international customers. Most of the customers are automotive industry, automotive parts and furniture. The major production bases are in Surat Thani, Phuket, Chumphon and Krabi. The new factory is located in Udon Thani. It is the 5th factory of the Company that can accommodate the orders from abroad.
Moreover, the Chinese customers have signed contracts to import from time to time. By the way, the Company has exported rubber to three importers from China namely Qingdao Runlian Co., Ltd., Shanghai Han Qing Import & Export Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Ting Qing Industry Co., Ltd. According to the data, the total export volume is about 110,000 tons and the value is more than 3.85 Billion Baht.
The plan to support the needs of the rubber industry in 2018, the Company has been promoted by the Board of Investment or BOI to expand the production capacity of rubber bar in 3 projects in Udon Thani and 2 projects in Surat Thani by investing 339 per project. Von Bundit Group is gradually implemented all projects.
The reason that Thai rubber can compete in the world market is Thai rubber has high quality due to direct purchase from farmers. The production quality from the rubber plantation farmers has been controlled. Products of the Company exported to abroad such as sheet rubber, block rubber and concentrated latex are about 750,000 tons per year, worth about 56,000 Million Baht.
The major customers are a tire manufacturer group in India with the number of cars per capita averaging 18 tons per 1 thousand people while India has a population of over 1 billion people. There is also new market beyond India which is Iran. For China, although the economy is worse, it also has a high growth rate and the tire industry is growing every year.
With the production process of the Company, we selected concentrated latex from rubber trees with good care. These concentrated latex is a part of pure rubber that has been extracted using chemicals to maintain the quality of the latex to get concentrated latex or also known as dried rubber. The dried rubber of the Company can be divided by quality into dried rubber with high ammonia, dried rubber with medium ammonia, and dried rubber with low ammonia. All products of the Company are manufactured in the best quality. Most importantly, there is no impact on the environment at the factory.
